The Shift-Adpaters are designed to mount Daysaver gear next to a bottle cage. They allow you to mount a bottle cage along with additional gear like the Incredible pumps and have the whole setup centered for more clearance. Of course you can also go for the classic mounting where the bottle cage is centered.

Features
Option "Clearance"
Mount the bottle and pump centered on the frame. This option spreads the additional width on both sides of the frame to allow more clearance compared to the classic mounting option.
Option “Side”
Pump mounted next to the centered bottle. This is the “classic” and straight forward method.
